Debron wins by 116 thousand keys plus some inconsistent comma usage.

V sent in 85,000, and Cocoa was too busy thinking that my friends were stupid enough to believe her bullshit to pulse. (They aren't. Skype was hilarious tonight.)

Y'know, for two people who frequent IRC chats about WhatPulse, these guys don't pulse often.

Our almighty overlord got 169,184 keys, while his Norwegian bane got a clean 88,000.

Glomple wins with a paltry 10k keys. See guys, this is what happens if you don't pulse!

From now on, league standings will be made in a separate post on Tuesday nights so we can get H2H posts out to you earlier. Furthermore, the next round's draw will not be released so that you can't "cheat" by checking on your opponent. It will be a surprise.

This is just a test of the new system, if you guys really don't like it we'll go back to the old one. I think it'll introduce some intrigue into the matches.

(But yes, we've got opponents for you all in our Excel spreadsheet, you're just not allowed to see them :P)

Just one round to go in this edition of the H2H Cup, and just one matchup left to determine the winner!  Who will win the H2H Cup this time?  Will it be ExplodingPonyToast, or will it be wasted?  Get ready for what is sure to be an exciting final!  As usual, the final will begin this Saturday (May 19) at 8:30 AM WhatPulse time (6:30 AM GMT, 2:30 AM EDT), and it will end on Saturday, June 9, at the same time--at which time, a winner will be crowned!

Okay, let's cut to the chase.

Everyone who was in H2H when it was postponed: You're still in it unless you say you don't want to be ASAP.

Everyone who wasn't in H2H when it was postponed: You have 132 hours (6 days) to reply to this message before it's too late. If you are too late, you only have to wait two months, though.

H2H Cup Quarterfinal Results

The quarterfinal round featured the closest matchup to date, with wasted defeating ajhgfa by fewer than 9000 keys. In addition, the #2 seed Mysterymason lost.

Here is how the bracket currently stands, heading into the semifinals:



Semifinal matchups will begin this Saturday, April 21, at 8:30 AM WhatPulse time (6:30 AM GMT, 2:30 AM EDT) and end Saturday, May 12, at the same time.

As far as predictions are concerned, no one can earn any more points from their predictions (all of the upsets had a lot to do with that). Sellyme is officially the prediction winner, with a total of 22 points. Jaume is 2nd with 18 points, and I finish third with 13 points.

H2H Cup Round 2 Results

With only 8 WhatPulsers remaining, the competition is heating up. The most notable result of round 2 is that WiiPlayer113 was eliminated, meaning he'll no longer get to keep his runner-up stick.

Here is the bracket as it currently stands, showing Round 2 results and quarterfinal matchups:



The H2H Cup quarterfinals begin this Saturday, March 24, and end 3 weeks later (on Saturday, April 14). The round will start and end at 8:30 AM WhatPulse time. However, with all the Daylight Savings Time changes happening over the next few weeks, I'll still count your pulses even if they're off by an hour or two. (If they're off by more than that, I'll use the formula of multiplying the total amount pulse by the percentage of the pulse that actually took place during the round.)

H2H Restarting 3/17/2012

As Team Manager, I would like to take over the responsibility of H2H, since Jaume and Selly seem to have disappeared into the ether.

Battles will restart/restart on Saturday, March 17th at midnight (00:00) CDT/EST.
All users who were enrolled in H2H will be automatically re-enrolled.
Users will start with 0 points. Same point structure as before applies.
I will be monitoring the Kongregate Team @ WhatPulse thread, so if you wish to join the H2H battles, let me know. :)

Suggestions to spice things up are welcome. Please provide feedback here or in the Kongregate Team Forum Topic
