Two months ago we asked you "when do you think WhatPulse 2.0 will be released?". Here are the results, in ascending order:

• 2 people (7% of voters) said the start of summer (Southern Hemisphere)
• 2 people (7% of voters) said the start of summer (Northern Hemisphere)
• 7 people (26% of voters) said some time after the rapture
• 7 people (26% of voters) said the third blue moon of Smarch
• 8 people (30% of voters) said Tuesday

So so far those who voted for Tuesday (20 September 2011) and some time after the rapture (21 October 2011) are all wrong. However, sorry to disappoint you, but you will all be wrong because WhatPulse 2.0 is a myth, a conspiracy created by Sellyme—it doesn't exist now and won't exist in the future! :P

Well, the previous polls have been closed for a while now, and to celebrate our new blog design (and far easier to read poll interface), I shall be updating the polls for another quizzical delight! But first, here are the last month's results for prosperity.

And before our eagle-eyed readers point it out, we're aware that they add up to 98% and 99% respectively, but blame Blogspot for that.

Our new poll is devised purely for pissing off the administrating team of WhatPulse, because I'm a mean bastard like that. Make your vote on the right-hand side of this post!

Last month we had a poll asking you lot what colour geek window you have, here are the results of that poll, in which a total of 31 people voted! Thanks for voting!

In the pie graph the "I hacked it into an image" has been removed and the "You can change colour?!" option has been added to the default section.

As you can see, mostly default, then followed by black or grey; blue and then red.

Now we will have a new poll, this month we will ask how much you tend to pulse weekly. The options are:

New poll! Geek window skins: What is yours?

I guess it's time to finally remove the two polls we've had up there for about two months and add a new one. But first, the results!

First, we asked you which of the two below images (Slater's Kongpulse logo, and the Kongregate banned) should be the new Kongpulse banner.

We were met with these results:

I finally took down that last poll, and put up a new one.

Apparently Sellyme is our most popular writer with 11, followed by tetrismaster at 10 (thanks for your votes), and Jaume in 3rd with 7 votes.
Jazzaboy and VG came in 4th and 5th respectively with 5 and 3 votes.

Our new poll is about Minecraft, which I'm sure lots of you already know about.
It released Beta V1.5 yesterday, which makes this a good time to see who here plays it.

The previous poll in Kongpulse was "Did Jaume rig the sellyme vs VG match?" This was something that happened in Round One of the Head to Head battles League.

Results:

The correct answer was "No", and 14% of you got it right.

By the way, I'd just like to clarify that all the match-ups from Rounds 1–25 were drawn on 8 January 2011, so don't complain if you're up against that person you dislike, as everyone is up against everyone at least once (and after Round 15, once again, maybe).

So the previous poll ended, and these were the results of it.


So most people think we should update more. 54% of voters said that. Well, yeah, we should. According to sellyme we'll be updating more throughout these Southern Hemisphere summer holidays. Hopefully we will!

36% of voters want more gadgets on the blog. Well, I'm not particularly sure what type of gadgets you'd like, so just tell us in the WhatPulse thread or whisper a Kongpulse writer and we'll see about it.

27% of voters voted for more useful links. Yeah, we shall try and improve that section of the blog.

3 people said we either can't improve or that they would tell us in the thread, well, I don't recall seeing those suggestions in the thread...


The new poll question simply asks who will win the Head to Head battles Finals of 2010. Well, vote for whoever you think will win! On 23 December we'll see who wins the Finals and we'll also see what percentage of blog readers got it right!

Well, we held a poll on that very subject, namely, how often you want a poll! The answers were pretty comprehensive.

So it seems you guys don't like polls! This makes me sad.

We'll probably still have the occasional poll, but only if we want to poll something important.

The results are in, and with a total of 39 voters, here they are:

The statistics: 34/39 voters, a winnar is you. 87% of the voters liked our stats

Uhmm, I don't even know why I'm here... I don't know, and a quarter of the people don't know either... 10/39, or 25%, are unsure people.

The frequency of blog updates: only 8/39, I guess we need to update more often, to please you people. or get it to auto-update. Whichever requires less work... :P

So, from now on, as we're not really that good at thinking poll questions, we shall have one poll a month, this is kind of good, as we'll get more answers; the results will be more precise and stuff.

In August, we asked:

What team should we challenge to an Interteam Battle?

1. 2 people, 9% of the voters, said we should challenge the Dutch Power Cows, the team with most keys, members, clicks and miles of the whole WhatPulse world.


2. 3 people, 13% of the voters, said we should challenge Ninja Chat United, the second team created by Kongregate fans.


3. 10 people, 45% of voters, said we should challenge Kongregate Elite, the fourth Kongregate fan team, created in August.


4. 3 people, 13% of voters, said we should challenge Fanfiction Enthusiasts, the team whose leader hasn't sent me a reply saying if they'd like to be in such a battle or not (I sent them a message, got no reply. I don't know why selly put this as an option...).


5. 4 people, 18% of voters, think this whole Interteam Battle concept is a stupid idea.

iPollage 2.0!

Well, we ran a poll a while ago, but never got a new one, because we didn't have any ideas. Now we do. Here's the results of the old poll:

How many 10,000,000+ key users will we have by Christmas?

Well, let's see what happens! To be honest, I'd change my vote to 40 if I could now, due to the users who recently left, but you never know.
