This Kongregate Team has 199 member(s), which have typed 408,872,757 keys and clicked 114,504,699 times all together.
The team holds 0.11% percent of all the teams/users of this project, and is ranked 103rd.
A big welcome aboard to AlisonClaire and Ducklette!!!
You may be wondering why I said Kongratulations to Amilir in the last update. Well, (s?)he was the lucky person to give the Kong team our 400,000,000th key. Nice work! Anyway, time for Top 7 pulsers over the week (which I changed to Top 10, to give the people who were in last weeks update a chance).
Well, 5 out of those 10 people frequent the FtD chatroom. That may be coincidence, but I'm saying to Hall of Odin, Scribbles, and the others, get off your ass and play FFR moar! (Which would actually require you to be on your ass, so disregard that.)
Also, evilducks has complete the Super Special Awesome Challenge of getting 1 million keys in a 2 day period. It took just over 2 days until he could pulse it, however he has provided proof that he achieved it in 2 days. For this he gets the challenge prize: 10 cookies.
Yes, 22 million keys. That's 3 million a day now. Not bad is it?
Also, there is a hide and seek challenge now going on in this blog. Find the location of the secret, and tell me it in the WP thread (http://www.kongregate.com/forums/1-kongregate/topics/4071-kongregate-team-whatpulse) and you will recieve 1 cookie. It is very obvious once you've found it, so if you aren't sure, you aren't right.

As of today, the Kongregate Team has 186 members and is ranked 109th.
When this blog was started, 11/13/09, there were only 97 members.
This is posted several hours early, due to my work schedule and I plan on updating it every Friday. Keep pulsing!!
evilducks, a WP user with 1,222,080 keys was the lucky first User of the Week. He loves games, which is what gives him his impressive 0.47 kps rate, and is currently holding 1st place for the coveted "Best Newcomer" award. Here's a bit of Q&A I did with him.
Q: How did you think up your name?
A: I got my name from Eddie Izzard
Q: How did you get 97k in 15 hours on the 30th of November?
A: Hacks, I mean playing Combat Arms!
Q: Why are you awesome?
A: I like turtles.
Q: Apart from you, who do you think is the best Kong WP user?
A: Nab, because his pulses are OVER 9000 each pulse.
Q: What is your main WP goal?
A: To be in the top 25 at least, then go after Nab.
Q: Why and when did you join WP?
A: Thousands of years ago! On November 17th.
Q: Any tips?
A: Pulse every key and click. Just to make sellyme miserable. :D (Editors Note: Do it and you shall face my WRATH!)
All in all very impressive. Still going at over 2mil per day. Also, over the first 2 years of this team we gained 64 members. Over the next 2 months, we gained over 100. Just shows that a good thread can go a long way. And still is judging by the 3-4 new users every day.
And that's it done. Took 20 hours but it was worth it.
Well, that's it for this update. As I won't be here again until Wednesday night (Wednesday mid morning for Americans) the Player of the Week will be delayed. Unless someone else decides to do it for me.
Well, at long last, Mr. Bean has joined with his 45,800,000 keys. That puts us up 24 spots. However, because he's joining, and not getting the pulse, no cookies. Well, okay, I'll give him 1. (This is to prevent people quitting the team and joining again to get cookies.)
Anyway, 124th place, 1,200,000 from 123rd. Let's get 100! GOGOGOGOGO!
Yes. We are in position 148. Cookie to Cj10203040 who made it. We will be going up about 25 spots by tomorrow with Mr. Bean (aka DarkRuler2005) joining, but he's only getting one cookie for that, otherwise it would be really unfair. Anyway, update:
Nice work team! [/scooby-doo reference] We managed to get to #149 at last... Props go to Juze for the pulse that did it. Hopefully I'll have another update in a few hours, as we are only 400k or so behind #148. Cookies count now.
Okay, right now there is only one prize, but it's an epic one. For just 5 cookies I will prank call any home phone in the U.S.A. (I can't outside of the US for legal reasons) Whether it be your friend, your enemy, or the pizza joint that won't deliver to you.
From now on, every Tuesday I will do a user of the week. If you wish to be nominated for this, just say so in a comment on the blog, or via the Kong forums. I will then whisper you with some questions for you to answer, and write up a profile all about you.
So now we have a new load of people to give cookies. Note that I am now no longer doing highest single pulse, and as I never ended up doing the highest daily pulsers last Sunday, CiF doesn't get that cookie. However, he just earnt one here so...
Okay, I'm getting bored of the same thing every day. I'm going to make a post every Sunday now, with the top 7 pulses of the week, the leaderboard of the highest total pulsers over the week and the leaderboard of our team and each team +/- 10 places... Yeah, this will be a LOT better to write... Oh well. Anyway, that means no updates except on saturdays, the team moving up a position, or any new team records (highest pulse ect.)
We broke 300,000,000 keys again.Woot! Anyway, it was CiF who broke the 300 million barrier, and up to position 156 as well. As that was clearly the largest pulse of the day at 1,517,945 keys, he gets the pulse cookie, position cookie AND a 300mil cookie. That changes our leaderboard to
Yeah... The only reason I left was because it was FREEZING in there. Seriously, it's 16 degrees outside and they put an air-con on... So, let's see who got the cookies.
Dextro53 gets the win with an impressive 167,495 keys that he had saved for 5 days. sellyme came second for the 5th time in a row with 90,001 keys And 3rd with 75k keys... Yes, that is 165,001 keys in 24 hours... wow o.o
Anyway, time for an update. Over the weekend we should get about a million per day, which is good, but as today is only the start of the weekend, I'm guessing a few hundred thousand. Anyway, the 19 people who have pulsed:
Okay, maybe I was wrong. But hey, I guarantee beyond a shadow of a doubt that by the end of the month we will have over 340,000,000 keys. Yes, 340 million. Why am I so sure? Check out the first post for a hint :)
Anyway, 1,250,000 until the next place, so pulse high! See you tomorrow!
